Silver Spoon enjoys a nice few sips, but Gunther, being a born Nordic child with a stomach almost as big as his good heart, drinks his weight in the liquid. It's NOT alcohol...but for a few minutes...he starts seeing things. In his fuzzy head, he sees that famous, snobby, pre-teen wizard known as Sigmund the Sorcerer dressed in what appears to be red Royal Guard uniform or whatever...then he pictures Rocky, dressed in a beautiful bride gown with her hair done and everything. For the moment, Gunther imagines the two being the talk of Equestria...and his mind REALLY takes a turn when he realizes that, despite they're just kids, are getting married. Now Gunther knows he's dreaming because of the boysenberry juice, but what REALLY makes him realize he's drinking too much is Mordecai and Twilight, who's dressed as like some bridesmaid along with Pinkie Pie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy...and the happiness the bluejay has that the unicorn is returning SUCH feelings Gunther's stunned Mordecai even had for her. This is when Gunther decides to call it quits with drinking his parents' new beverage for the day while Silver Spoon seems fine. According to Gunther, and perhaps many others, he believes there is NO WAY Mordecai himself would have a crush on Twilight Sparkle...because Gunther believes STRONGLY that he likes Eileen the mole, that cute girl that works alongside Margaret at the diner. " |

Oh, dear, sweet merciful Lord... The writing in the context being in a middle school level... Child brides... the moronic notion that anything & everything can crossover without rhyme or reason... Yep... it's Cartuneslover.
The idea of a massive intercontinuity crossover appealed to me when the first Kingdom Hearts games first started coming out and, hell, it still does have a certain allure. But even my 12 year old self realized that there is a time & place for crossovers and that there needs to be a certain situation for those crossovers. This girl does not & it really does show. I love to watch MLP & Regular Show. The few times I watched Kick Buttowski it was fine. KND was a great show when I was young. Hell, I'll even admit that there's some qualities to Fanboy & Chum-Chum. But any sane, rational person must know that even in the hands of a TALENTED writer, this would still be a clusterf*ck of epic proportions that no one could take seriously. But in Cartuneslover's hands, this is (sorry to say) among the absoulte worst Canon Rape I've ever seen. The art is good, hell, it's really damn good, but she needs to illustrate only & work with someone with real writing talent, one who realizes what she's doing is so massively stupid. For the TL;DR crowd: Cartuneslover is a writing hack, my eyes bleed when I see the stupid, but at least the stupid is nicely drawn. |
