My headcannon is thart Luna was regrouping her guards (the batwinged) for an all out attack, then the power of love repelled all the changelings. She and her batallion seeked and destroyed the few remaining outside of canterlot, then she gone back home took a shower to remove the bloodstains and nonchalantly entered the party "did i miss something?" winking at the sister and whispering "i' vre missed no one, no survivors". |
