Well, Hasbro takes around a year of brony fan work and they go ahead and change the fanon. Sure, they don't have to follow the fanon (don't want another Derpy and that shit) BUT this is hardly politcal. I'm sure Hasbro could have taken her fans' ideas into consideration at least.

More than likely they only lifted her shades because we wanted so badly to know what color her eyes were, not to show that 'we' chose red and they followed. Don't drag the Derpy bullshit into this. There were dumb fucks and trolls that made that into what it was.
