The emotion behind this scene was absolutely intense. Knowing what she was trying to do, and thinking, if only for a moment, that she was totally wrong about Fake Cadence, and the snubs her friends and Celestia gave her... and then having to turn to the one pony she didn't want to see to apologize, only to get ambushed...

And then she got pulled to HELL! Man, that sure were some horrible minutes, my heart was pure ice at that moment. I wonder how little children would have taken those scenes. T_T |

It was so unfair, Twilight trying to warn everyone about the phony Cadence...and then all her friends desert her and her own brother uninvites her to the wedding and even Celestia turned on her...I'm surprised in Part 2, the moment she was vindicated, she didn't turn all snide and cold toward them and sneer "I TOOOOLLLLD YOU SOOOOO!!" or even decide that for making her feel so sad and cry like this, she oughtta just LEAVE Celestia and Shining Armor all cocooned up, it would serve them right! |

There were two ponies missing from practice... probably to make sure the scene wasn't completely soul-destroying. She is abandoned on the spot by; her big brother idol, her son/little brother, all her friends, and God herself. Why not complete the set and throw her parents into the mix? |
