For real. |

I did wonder why she seemed to vanish both in part one where Twilight announced Cadence was evil and in part two when the Queen revealed herself. |
| Impious #1299082 2 months ago |
Yeah... Seriously. Celestia easily could have shot her in the back.
But then, where's the fun in that? Better posture for the ponies so that your grand defeat of the bad guy looks even more badass- >defeated by the power of love GODDAMNIT |

Oh, THAT'S where she went... I was concerned that you fled or something, but then you came back. |
| Flamma_Man #1299100 2 months ago |
Yeah, that bugged me that she suddenly disappeared during that monologue. However, I'm just going to chock it up to an animation error. |
| Anonymous #1299183 2 months ago |
You guy's are really digging for shit to complain about, huh? |
| Anonymous #1299185 2 months ago |
Look man, you just can't interrupt a monologue. There are rules about that stuff. |
| CottonTales #1299235 2 months ago |
Celestia has etiquette she had to wait for the villain to finish speaking |
| Impious #1299290 2 months ago |
I think people want to complain because they want to believe that Celestia isn't grossly incompetent, because there has been little evidence to suggest otherwise.
I don't have a problem with how things went down, I just hope she gets to kick the shit out of some irredeemable scumbag in Season 3. Getting your ass kicked within ten seconds inside your own castle after promising to defend your people just isn't nice. She isn't exactly proving to anyone that she's capable of protecting her ponies. |

I actually wasn't complaining, let alone looking for a thing to complain about. Hell, Cadence is new best pony for me.
I made this because I enjoy Celestia doing silly things like this. |

Let's see...
- Jumped by an abomination with the power of her own sister plus the power of something else outside the context of this reality - Captured by a creature so powerful that he can juggle day and night, AND she is incapable of wielding the one weapon that can stop him - Shot in the back by the queen of a race of demons who's gorged herself on raw emotions for god-knows-how-long This asshole didn't give Celestia a chance. |
| Impious #1299354 2 months ago |
I mean in general.
I'm actually very pleased with the utter lack of any shitstorm, period. Complain is more like minor nitpick, in this case. I dunno, I still feel bad for her. She was all gung-ho about kicking Chrysalis's ass, and she got denied, hard. If ponies believed she was some kind of unstoppable goddess before, they sure don't now. |

I know I sure don't now. And a little part of me died inside. |
| DracoHandsome #1315643 2 months ago |
... Celestia didn't appear for a short duration during a conversation because she had moved to another location in the room.
Seriously. Is she not allowed to walk five fucking yards without you assholes criticizing her? |
| TheLoneLampman #1319793 2 months ago |
Nobody knows the rules, do they?
You ALWAYS let the bad guy finish explaining everything first. |
