I wonder why Rarity is such a physical fighter. She kicked the Manticore in the pilot, tried to kung-fu Liarjack, and put up her hooves to fight the teen dragons. Now here she is smacking changelings around. |

She's a physical fighter because her magic isn't as strong or versatile as Twilight's.
She enjoys fighting because it's nice to get your hooves dirty every once in a while, and she isn't worried about the rest of her getting dirty because nopony is good enough to lay a hoof on her. |
