I adjusted it to try to get rid of the night time dulling, and sharpened/used alien skin blow up.

I feel that they were trying to give us this one, but red eyes are usually used to represent evil, and it IS a children's cartoon, so this is as close as they could get. |

The evening light would make her eyes more red, if anything. I think that we can safely conclude that whether her eyes are purple or magenta, they are definitely NOT red. Sorry fanon police, but canon wins.
And who decided that her eyes were red in the first place? If anything you'd think that people would have assumed they were purple, since that's the color of her goggles. Then again, half the fandom still thinks that Derpy is a mailmare, so maybe I put too much faith in this fandom's collective intelligence. |

I liked the idea of her having red eyes, and I'm a little disappointed they're not but it's still awesome they put her in there at all. Besides, fanon is pretty strong, there might be a few more purple eyed Vinyl pictures and fanfics but there will still be artists and writers who like them red, so I'm fine with it. |
