There will likely be an end to this series, but not an end to this particular MLP universe. It has proven far too successful to change the formula too much. I imagine Twilight's studies will come to an end, a climatic puppetmaster final villain boss will be defeated, and every character will get their happy ending. The next show would probably be set in the same universe, but with different characters and possibly a different time period. |

A normal episode plays, and then at the 19 minute marke, the screen just goes black. The screen fades in to Lauren Faust waking up, where she recounts this bizarre dream were My Little Pony was actually good, and there were these strange people called bronies. She then goes down stairs, turns on the TV, and see G4 Ponies, no different from G3 outside of art style. She then tears up knowing, it was all a dream. We are all a dream. You, the one reading, are a dream.
The screen then fades to black. |

In the season's final episode, Twilight reveals the show is actually a story written by Twilight Sparkle about her life. To cope, Twilight twisted major elements of her life for the story, which the audience does not find out until the final moments of the series. In reality, Big Mac's heart attack was fatal and the Apple family did not win the lottery. In real life, Rarity is a lesbian and Rainbow Dash is straight. Another difference is that Shining Armor and Luna were a couple all along, as were Cadence and Prince Blueblood, rather than the opposite. |

You know, I thought you'd never ask.
I imagine the series finale as a full-length feature film, and here's my idea; Twilight Sparkle, with Princess Celestia's permission, releases Discord and strips him from his powers to interrogate him about his and Chrysalis' motives. After Discord reluctantly reveals that him and Chrysalis were doing what they do for their master, the true villain appears and destroys him for failing his mission. He then announces that he will destroy all of Equestria unless he is defeated within six days. He also wounds Princess Celestia, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor to make sure they don't interfere. Each day that passes, destruction spreads across the world and Twilight's friends disappear one by one. On the sixth and final day, Twilight Sparkle is forced to face the true villain alone. However, her friends eventually break free from the villain's prison and come to Twilight's rescue. They then proceed to use the Elements of Harmony, but it turns out that the true villain created the Elements and he causes them to backfire. He then proceeds to destroy Twilight Sparkle and almost succeeds. Twilight almost loses all hope and accepts her fate. But she then thinks about how she really saved Equestria three times. She realizes that it wasn't the Elements of Harmony that saved Equestria, but it was her own inner magic. Thus, in one last ditch effort, the wounded Twilight slowly picks herself up to destroy the true villain for good. The villain attempts to finish her off, but is ultimately defeated by Twilight's fully awakened magic as well as everypony's faith in her. After his defeat, he reveals that he never really intended to destroy Equestria and just wanted to put Twilight to one final test and prove to him how strong she really is. Thus, the true villain bids farewell and fades away to dust. Two weeks later, Twilight Sparkle is taken to the Grand Galloping Gala to perform a solo concert with a song expressing her love and gratitude to everypony in Equestria. Thus, the credits roll. After the credits end, Twilight Sparkle suddenly bumps into the true villain reborn as a kind and earnest pony. At first, Twilight is surprised, but he reassures her discarding his past self and asking her to live up to a brighter future. THE END. |

The final episode will be just a casual day in Ponyville. Twilight reading, Applejack farming, Rarity creating, Dash practicing (or napping), Pinkie making smiles and Fluttershy caring for animals. At the last moment the CMC come running up, announcing that they got their cutie marks, but then the credits start. |
