She doesn't want to be loved, she FEEDS on love. She's an AlwaysChaoticEvil creature, and so are the rest of them.
Also, my fan theory seems more and more canon, every time. Friendship is Magic, so Love is Power. Celestia has neither, which is why the shapeshifting archdemon feeding off of the handsome rougue's love for his wife kicked her ass. Changlings have the right idea, if love powah is powerful enough to knock out a sun goddess. That could have gotten ugly. |

But Keep in mind that Celestia was primed to Vaporize Chrysalis until Shining Armour's love kicked in and turned the tide. Even surprising The Queen herself. Celestia was surprised by that too |

Man, she's a dang ponified succubus. She's a ponified fair folk. She's awesome, but I'm hoping we don't make her a tragic hero. She's about as legitimately evil as you can get in a show for kids.
I think some cool fanfics could be done about a changeling that becomes it's mask and falls for it's victim for real, but the Changeling Queen is EEEvilll and is all the more awesome for that. |
