^ And it fits, so well. The Invaders wanted the Getter Rays to evolve, though Getter Robo is their bane. The Changelings fed off the love ponies had, and the Power of Love was their downfall.
The parallels are so uncanny, though the changelings don't have the body horror aspect associated with the Invaders. |
