Well, if you're taking evening shading into consideration, that would mean that her original color was pushed further into warm colors because of the lighting overlay. Thus it stands to reason that her original colors are cooler. Her eyes are probably closer to the shade of her goggles, TBH. |

Yes, but light refraction is very variable-heavy. Basically, the concept of lighting and colors isn't always black and white (no pun intended). |

Look deep into her eyes, look deep into Vinyls eyes. Notice something similar. Case closed. Animators template eyes for easy of use. Also explains the occasional messed up eyes in background ponies. It's easy enough to misclick, and there was probably a lot less QA to make sure the background ponies were consistent. As long as they had eyes looking in the right direction, noone would pay to much attention. |
