The queen of the changelings was overcharged from draining Shining Armor. So I don't think is was that celestia was weak, it's that the queen of the changelings was already powerful and gained even more power from draining shining armor.
Well changelings do count, because in their unchanged state they seem to be a offshoot of ponies. |

How can people say that changelings aren't a new species of pony, or even a new species entirely? Their default form looks like ponies, but they feed on love and change into other stuff. None of the other pony types do that, not even alicorns. I'd say that's more than enough proof for me. |

Season three bingo recycled squares-
A present-day visit to the big city. Celestia shows her powers to the max. Gilda returns. Body swap episode. Scootaloo episode without the CMC. Trixie returns. Pinkamina returns. We find out more about zecora. The Cmc help someone else get his cutie mark. Luna playing a major role and prankster celestia shouldn't be included cause of the low chance. Now we need to come up with fifteen more- I would suggest Lyra talking, but she did actually talk in this episode. Doctor whooves being canon can't be on there cause that would be trademark infringement. ...How about- Another winter episodes, like winter wrap-up or hearts warming eve? Learning more about equestria history? Someone's parents being introduced? Like Rainbow's parents or Fluttershy's or scootaloo's. |

Also in the sister hoove's social episode sweetie bell was able to negate rarity's magic by flicking her horn. Meaning you can stop magic by messing with their horns. Since the changeling attacked her horn that probably hurt like a bitch.
So I don't think it was celestia showing her powers to the max so much as the changeling suckerpunched celestia. |

I agree on recycling what wasn't used, but I think we should more properly word things so we can avoid things like if Luna's guards count as a new pony species, or if Zecora's birthday counts as learning more about her.
For example, the present Luna square, I think it should be changed to her playing a notable part in an episode. As for new squares, here are things I think would work. 1. New mythological creature. 2. Doctor Whooves with British accent. (Bonus points if it's someone who has been on "Doctor Who") 3. Applejack has a song to herself. 4. References to past villains. 5. Rainbow Dash has song to herself. 6. Episode involving the ocean. 7. Aliens. 8. Return of Tank and/or Peewee. 9. More information on Tartarus. 10. Some sort of conest-game-whatever where the Mane Six are up against each other. 11. Something about Shining Armor and Cadance's married life. 12. Octavia and Vinyl are seen together. 13. What Spike does when the Mane Six aren't around. 14. Twilight's science experiment goes horribly, horribly wrong. Also, the recycled squares should be shuffled into new spots. |

If Pixie and Angel Salvadore can count as human with insect qualities then I see no reason to count the Changelings as Ponies with Insect qualities unless it is specifically mentioned that they are something else that only takes the basic shape of it's prey. |

@354 We said that the bat winged pegasai didn't count cause we assumed Luna bewitched them rather then hearing someone say they were bewitched, and now we're debating the changelings cause it wasn't flat out told to use? An aquatence of mine said that they batwinged ponies were "Nightmares", they are part of Eastern and Northern European mythology", and that anyone who DIDN'T think they count didn't read a book... So pick- Either the changelings count, and we mark that off now- or the "Batwinged pegasai" count and we should have marked it off several episodes again. |
