@Simlun Wait, am I going to respond to you guys? Damn it, I thought I would need to do this. I could go on a long diatribe about how the drawing of certain subject matters makes a person no better or no worse than they were before (just look at the Rape of the Sabine womens, or just three-fourths of mythology) but I rather just say this: you aren't the artist, you don't get to call what he draws, and as long as he is improving his art and enjoying himself what makes you think you have the right to say he has "fallen" which makes no sense whatsoever. You are actually the kind of people that actually made me bother to do what I am doing, and quite frankly I would love to see all authors draw a little R34 and posting it so that people would get off their high horses and stop pretending that you have any right to call upon an artist over subject manner rather than technique. To all artist out there, and please repeat if you see other comments like this, do no fear to draw whatever you want and share it, it's your right and you shouldn't have to be worrying about a group of people who clearly don't care about seeing you grow as an artist. So post your NSFW, preferably under another officially acknowledged name (aka everyone knows it is you) so that people who don't want to see this kind of stuff can easily evade it as it is also their right , do not feel like that drawing it makes you any worse of anything, and explore all venues of art and learn from that. Also, remember pornographic work ≠ erotic work, which you probably already did at some point if you took art in any serious venue anyway. @YouCloppinToFoalsBro If he is to be believe, he ain't drawing nothing. As in, all of this? Old pics he had been keeping in his computer for the longest time but couldn't post anywhere because of the stupid fear he had of people rejecting him for drawing NSFW. So, he was "drawballed" for quite the longest time. If he just draws NSFW for now and doesn't improve is the only problem (and note, this is a two point conditional, both must occur, but the second one is the biggie) I can possibly see. Also, that tumblr update schedule isn't that fast to begin with so stupid acting like an idiot. And I'm off.

Perhaps it's a distinction of semantics, where my definition of debate requires two people to actually be discussing something (note: a discussion is not necessarily a debate, but you want the technical details?) rather than.... Well, let us make this simpler, look at this chart: By continuing you are actually failing to maintain the rules of discussion and thus have started arguing, where opinions are exchanged without regard to actually changing minds and/or for the sole purpose of proving oneself right. Now, you can stick with your definition, but arguing doesn't require insults or screaming (as any girl will tell you once she decides you did something wrong). I will say you need to get a better approach to dealing with people like this, because of what I said before, you don't end up with any upper hand by doing this.

Personally? I would tell those that like my drawing to retag things and to ignore him. The first one is already occuring, the second one just requires you to go and say "hey Simlun, you are a waste of time and I will ask everyone who sees you in my pics to not respond and tell others not to do so as well." Is it annoying to have someone tell you your stuff sucks? Yes, and sometimes you care about what they have to say than those who say that they like your stuff because, hey, bandwagons are a real thing and sucking is the ever present fear. But if you know he is just doing it out of inertia, and in a dumb fashion too, you ignore him and try to find actual good critcism. I know responding might feel right, but it only encourages him in the future, and you will have gotten nothing. But, if everyone ignores him, he will eventually get bored and we will continue to do what we always do (I getting angry at people who act like self-entitle twats which think drawing NSFW makes you evil or something, you drawing your stuff, people commenting on them, some them coming just for the d'awww or the clop, some others because they actually like your stuff, and ponies ponying ponies). In short, ignoring him, telling others to keep in mind he be trolling, keep making your art better and showing people that you can draw both NSFW and SFW without either stopping you from drawing the other and that it just means you don't mind drawing vaginas, not that you are a weird pervert from mars or something. Plus, if the internet has taught me anything, no one will care apart from him in about two weeks. Also, check your other pics, I mean what said in them.
