Is that a full shell that has been fired at them, casing and all? Who likes to draw tanks, but has absolutely no understanding of how a gun works?
The art is great though, good job on that. |

Clopitor, I don't think...
I mean I think Twi is just holding it. |
| dragonSpike #1290826 2 months ago |
^Maybe a unicorn launched it. |
| Jackarunda #1290844 2 months ago |
and the whole thing isn't called a shell anyways |
| Clopitor_the_Hydrogenous #1290848 2 months ago |
Way is it smoking then?
And what is the point of a tank if you can get unicorns to do the same thing? |
| Clopitor_the_Hydrogenous #1290852 2 months ago |
Fine round whatever Jack, I'm not going to get into terminology when we can't even establish function yet. |
| Jackarunda #1290860 2 months ago |
Actually maybe you're right... maybe the idea was that Twi caught it before it hit them.
In which case what the fuck lol, what cannon fires the whole damn cartridge |
| dragonSpike #1290869 2 months ago |
Would be smoking if it's designed to have a fuse inside to blow up, ie stick of dynamite disguised as tank ammunition |
| Jackarunda #1290871 2 months ago |
I didn't notice the smoke. I thought it was some background something.
Speaking of which LOL that reminds me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGPIQ72-2Vg#t=0m12s |

AJ is standing kinda wrong there. Not to mention that the machine gun is just as big as the main gun. |
| Clopitor_the_Hydrogenous #1290893 2 months ago |
@Liquid
Well there was only a 62 mm difference between the two. |

Gunners usually stay inside the turret |

@clopitor
the machinegun was actually a browning m1919 (.30-06 or 7.62x63 mm) and the main gun was, if I am not mistaken, a 76 mm, so there was a ~68 mm difference, it is only the large barrel shroud that makes the machine gun appear larger. Maybe you are referring to the Ma Duce (browning M2 HB, .50 cal, 12.7x99 mm)? Those were not commonly found on the Shermans, as they were much heavier 45-kg M2 pounds vs 12-kg M1919, and less ammunition for the M2 could be carried because of its weight and size (750 grain bullet vs 150 grain for the M1919. The Ma Duce has a much longer, unshrouded barrel. |

@Clopitor_the_Hydrogenous
Whats the point of a steam engine if you're going to have horses pull it? ... Damn this is a late comment. |
