@Jackarunda is it bad if they make you archmage if you only have magic at the base level and only know some basic restoration and destruction and even then rarely use them?

I dunno, I'd say it's justified to be made Archmage if you spend 95% of your college days going around knocking the teeth out of draugr and dragon priests with your daedric armor clad knuckles. |

They establish in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim that the Archmage is a just "cushy" position for the most accomplished mage. The Master Wizard does all the management.

This doesn't make sense. If Twilight never attended Celestia's school, she wouldn't have met Celestia, and she and Shining Armor wouldn't have met Cadence, at least as early as they did. Her chances of marrying into the royal family would be worse, not better. |
