I disagree with the longer part.
Fluffy ponies should be proportionate to regular ponies, just much smaller. |

The 'zoological report' doesn't do it for me, as I don't subscribe to anything written there. Fluffy pony fluff doesn't protect them from the cold at all. It just keeps them from freezing at room temperature. They all freeze to death if alone in the wilds or if winter comes, unless they band together in big herds to warm each another. |

I also disagree with the mane and tail analysis, considering how many stories specifically differentiate their colors. |

I would add to this; pet fluffies have so much fluff that it can interfere with mating, foaling & suckling.
When fluffies go feral their fluff becomes matted down to some degree (they still appear very fluffy) and gets naturally trimmed by friction with their harsher environment. Reproductive fuctions are now possible. Gotta agree with Anon028 on the temperature issue. Allowing fluffy ponies to have a strength of any kind (such as resistance to cold) detracts from their utter uselessness. |

well 5% of however million fluffies there are means there are plenty of with Mane and tails that are different from their coats |

@028 - But you're applying a ridiculous level of frailty to the animal. Nothing can freeze to death at room temperature, even something like a fluffy. If a hairless breed can survive 72 degrees then even a shaved fluffy should be able to survive it. |

@deathproofpony: I don't see why this would be of any problem. Especially considering we are talking about ridiculous abominations of science that can talk badly and crave for italian pasta products. Applying real-world logic only leads to head-aches. |

@185 I see your point, but...
well, put it this way: I'm trying to apply real-world physiology to an imaginary creature. There really is no wrong or right. It's just a rough guide based on numerous stories from a variety of sources. |

I'm a little curious who set this to explicit and why. There's no pony abuse at all. |

This is pretty stupid. |
