This is a damn sight better than the "World Trip" series.
Not super interesting, though. Also, What is the point in establishing the character as an Ex-successful buisiness woman who burned out hard, went into a coma, and then recovered and travels the world in a motor home selling natural remedies and helping the poor? It adds nothing to the story which is at it's core: Woman who values peace and quiet seeks a pet, decides on getting a fluffy pony, and looks around until she finds a quiet one. I think your writing would benefit if you looked into writing regular goddamn people as characters. Stories about arbitrarily special people in normal situations are nowhere near as interesting as stories about ordinary people handling extraordinary situations. |
