My thought is Bonbon's an opera singer trying to keep her range as full as possible. The benefit of this theory is it gives her and Lyra a possible meeting point. |

^This is now my headcanon. Making candy is just her talent. Like Rarity's is finding/using gems, but her profession is clothing design. Or Pinkie's talent is parties, but her profession is baking. Thanks for the headcanon. |
