OP here; I posted this one dA for 8 hours before taking it back down due to some really bad ratings on it. I guess I was a huge mistake rushing my work like this. |

I never read all the way through Past Sins, so if this is something that happened in it, if I understand this right and she turned Twi into a baby, I now have a reason to not like Nyx. |

I dont like Nyx, not because she is an OC, I dont like Alicorn OCs. But this isnt bad, I think she gave up her own immortality, to make Twilight immortal. |

I personally like Nyx, but I feel it's giving her a bit too much credit to be invited to rule. That just doesn't feel like what she's fit for. Regardless, though, the story isn't necesarily bad, although I don't get the thing about Twilight as a baby alicorn...
And OP, what kind of ranting did you get on DA, anyway? I'm curious. |

This is one of those wonderful "What Ifs" I wrote a "what if" side story... I love stuff like this, where a subplot is explored that may or could not actually happen in the main storyline. It can be something exciting or sad, but the events that could have been are sometimes just as fun to think about than what actually did happen. Plus I love Nyx. She may be OC, but she was the first OC I actually cared about. Lets face it, all the MLP characters were OC at one point... so. I hoofstomp for this n.n |

@Alexlayer OP here. for posts with <1000 views a high fav+download/view ratio means that your post is a smash hit. .1 or higher means you're doing alright, .2 or higher and its A-material.
On this comic... I got an all-time low of about .07 so I had to micro out and try posting this somewhere else where my reputation wasn't at risk. Plus dA is barely critical versus this site; I love it. |

Hey, it's okay #1287154. Every artist makes mistakes now and again. Even the immortal PIXAR (bless them) is prone to making mistakes now and again (though I think that mistake was intentional so as to reset the bar after Toy Story 3, but I digress). My point is it's your abilities to listen to criticism and learn from it that makes you a true artist. |
