The second fluffy pony attempt. Made the fluff non-spikey, but she looks like a sheep. Faces are difficult to draw, so I drew their eyes closed.
(I know you abuse the shit out of this, so give it your best shot.) |

hmm you should try to find a balance between "spikey" and "sheep"
anyway I'd say even between this and the last drawing you've improved, Keep it up! |

The foal should be closer to the dam. And the foal's wings look like they've been turned sideways. Aside from that, it's quite okay. |

Not bad for your second try |

Would you be interested in trying to draw a newborn fluffy? Like, fresh out of the womb? |

(apologies for the bad artwork - I'm a godawful artist)
I picture them something like this. This should be pretty close to actual size, too. I imagine a newborn fluffy being around the size of an average hamster. |

Their fluff is wet from birth although the mother usually cleans the foal and its fluff ideally dries and fluffs up within an hour of birth.
The foal is born with its eyes closed but opens them within a matter of minutes of birth. The speech center is initially limited to simple chirps like a baby squirrel or rabbit but the speech recognition kicks in within a few hours. As you can see, the body of the foal is not unlike a regular MLP pony, except a bit more elongated and the legs are a bit shorter. |
