Homecoming as a game is good, but as a Silent Hill game it loses sight of the original three's vision. It just isn't scary in the way the first three are. It feels too much like a modern horror flick. Some legitimately scary parts, but it loses that thrilling sense of psychological torment.
But yeah, Asphyxia, the moment she crawled out of that hole, nearly gave me a heart attack. Jesus fuck that thing is horrible. Her backstory is horrible too, she's the reincarnation of a little girl who was sacrificed via strangulation. deeeaaaugh |
