The Ponibooru Board Helper version 1.1.2 is out, fixing a couple of minor but annoying bugs.


You can find it here, as usual, or you can let Greasemonkey or Scriptish update it for you (in Firefox).

Version 1.1.1, for thos who missed it, was out some hours after the release of the version 1.1.0, fixing an important issue that prevented Firefox users to send comments and messages.

This time, the major fix deals with a bug that prevents correctly posting messages with Unicode special characters. It happened that the server doesn't unescapes the extended Unicode characters that the userscript escaped... Well, now it just doesn't escape them anymore.

  • Fixed Unicode characters mess on comment/message sending
  • Fixed wildcard bug on word filter
  • Fixed double hiding comment message when changing word blacklist
  • Fixed un/blocking user messages from user menu
  • Added text tools on message page view/reply
  • Added support to single text lines quoted by double '>'


Meanwhile, the development of version 1.2.0 of the PBH is still going on, introducing a new interface for image uploading, with drag & drop (not for Opera, though) and image preview.

Moreover, the userstyle Ponibooru Azure has been updated, so you may want to update (or install) it.

It's a userscript for Chrome, Firefox and Opera that improves the user experience on Ponibooru.
It does... well, a lot of thing.

"Potentially"... but hardly. The userscript is limited to run on Ponibooru, so the worst it could do is to steal your Ponibooru password and send it to me through a private message (since it can't send info outside Ponibooru, too).
Which would be bad enough but I can assure you that's not what is does :)
Besides, it's open source, so everyone can have a look at the source code.
