Am I a racist if I just really don't like this style of dress at all? |
| CottonTales #1281892 2 months ago |
@Professor
yes you dress racist the dress was born that way it had no choice in the matter |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1281896 2 months ago |
I'm sick of dresses coming over here and taking our jobs Damn it! |
| Clopitor_the_Hydrogenous #1281908 2 months ago |
I believe that white dresses are made in a superior manner to black dresses. We should only make white dresses to ensure that our dress fabric pool is not tainted with inferior black dresses. |
| CottonTales #1281920 2 months ago |
@Clopitor
Please black dresses have far more sophistication and elegance than white dresses black dresses are the dresses of the higher people |

Other question:
Am I a islamic taliban-nutball if I say I like this? Though to be honest, I find this sexy for the same reason, when women dress up in kimonos... there is just something, if almost everything is covered up, but you can still say "That is a real hottie" |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1281934 2 months ago |
I guess a big part of it for me is that I despise all abrahamic religions and the modesty that comes with them. Also, I just think head coverings like this are unattractive. |
| Takashi_0 #1281956 2 months ago |
Because Modesty is so incredibly horrible. |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1281959 2 months ago |
^Yeah, imposed false modesty is fucking horrible. It's demeaning to women and dis empowers them. It shames their natural sexuality and desires and subjugates them to the will of a patriarchal society. So yeah, it's fucking horrible you twerp. |
| Anonymous #1281975 2 months ago |
Call me a xenophobe, but I just don't like the idea of telling women they should cover their beautiful hair like it was a butt or something. |
| Stank #1282073 2 months ago |
She has an overly long neck and a big head for those shallow shoulders. Her forearms and hands look too small, also. |
| Anonymous #1282107 2 months ago |
I thought they dressed like that, historically, because it's a desert so you don't want exposed skin. Watch Lawrence of Arabia and you see everyone covered head to toe. Why they force their women to dress like this today when we have stuff like air conditioning is just a form of subjugation. |
| Psychopomf #1282110 2 months ago |
Totally fake and gay and noncanon
... ...Honestly you think she wouldn't at least sew a design into the hijab? Maybe some gems across the trim? |
| Takashi_0 #1282163 2 months ago |
I respect women too but "Patriarchial society?" "Disempowers them?" Really?
You know how everyone hates Yamino because she stands up for a group of people she's not a part of? If you were a REAL feminist you'd ask an actual woman how she felt about this so-called "shaming of their natural sexuality and desires." Or maybe you wouldn't because she'd kick you in the nuts for saying something that sounds incredibly sexist. Draconequus! You're the only woman I know here; how do you feel about this? |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282181 2 months ago |
I'm not a feminist at all. Feminism requires quite a bit of intellectual faith on subjects such as sexual normalcy, gender identity, and many other philosophical/sociological issues that I have no interest on dissecting and discussing one by one.
I believe in equal gender rights and expression. I hate Yamino because she's a self righteous asshole, not because she's a woman. If she were a man I would hate HIM just as much. That's irrelevant to me. I stand by my "natural sexuality and desires" comment because men are allowed in societies all over the world to be promiscuous and to act on their desires with not even HALF as much consequence as women who might want to do the same thing. If a man cats around town and hooks up with a different girl every night then he's influential and powerful. If a woman user her wiles or sexuality then she's a "whore." You're an idiot Takashi. Fuck off. |
| Zincy #1282192 2 months ago |
Takashi what in the blazes are you talking about? In fact, what are you two going on about... the culture or just the hijab itself?
Because you're both wrong if its about the culture. The actual Koran doesn't say diddlely squat about oppressing women or stripping them of their rights, nor does it talk about the Hiajib. However, the more fundmentalist cultures such as Saudi Arabia and Iran have taken it to the very extremes of sexism. Forbidding women from owning porperty, from learning, and even beheading and stoning them for attempting such. Don't blame the entire culture, just the fucking specifiably devolved ones. But at the same time, don't be an apologist like Takashi, you have to acknowledge that it is a real problem. |
| Takashi_0 #1282198 2 months ago |
I ain't going nowhere Hoers.
And apart from the retarded teenage girl crowd, I don't recall the "whorehunting" being especially prevalent in society. (Of course I'm half-awake so my wits are a tad dull at the moment.) Please provide evidence for your argument. |
| Takashi_0 #1282200 2 months ago |
And who said I was being an apologist?
I'm just saying Hoers is being a generalizing prick. |
| Zincy #1282204 2 months ago |
Now, about the treatment of females here, and else where baring the Islamic world for a second, that once again is a more broad thing then either of you give it credit. |
| Zincy #1282210 2 months ago |
It sounded like you were denying a real problem Takashi. While its not as general as Prof states, it still exists. |
| Anonymous #1282216 2 months ago |
Why don't we just find the wrongheaded people in the middle east and fix them? |
| Zincy #1282220 2 months ago |
2216, that would require dismantling entire civilizations. Good luck with that. |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282222 2 months ago |
You're serious? Do you live in America bro? Seriously?
Rush Limbaugh recently is but one example of the rancid slut shaming going on here. If you want to talk about THE WORLD at large then we can go on and on. Women in countries all of the world not being allowed to even go to school. Having FUCKING ACID thrown in their face. Being forced into marriages at ages as young as 14 to men as old as 50. Not being allowed to show their face in public. Not allowed to drive cars. Having to be accompanied by a man if they ever leave the house. Women still, in the good old US of A make 70 cents on the dollar and have a 1/3 chance of being sexually assaulted in their life time. Recent studies (which I can cite if you're interested) show that women are 4x as likely to be insulted for their gender than men are. Also, sexually active women are forced to pay more than 2x as much as men in insurance right here in the US. Again, you're stupid. |
| majob #1282227 2 months ago |
ProfessorOfHoers consider two things
Women can easily obtain sex regardless of her looks. All she needs to do is make an offer and men will run over themselves to lineup. Men however, must have one of two things going for them, looks and or money. A man without one of those will have a very hard time getting laid. Two. Men can't get pregnant, women can. A woman who fucks around is likely to get pregnant since no prevention is 100% and she's going to have a hard time figuring out the father of her child is. So yeah: Women who fuck around = slut for good reason |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282230 2 months ago |
^You're a fucking asshole majob. |
| Zincy #1282231 2 months ago |
Well, the sociological data tends to be on Profs side. Women are treated differently in many modern countries including the US. |
| Zincy #1282236 2 months ago |
Majob, thats a cop out used to justify men having not responsibility. You get a girl knocked up, its just as much your fault as theirs, face it. |
| MaroonBunyip #1282239 2 months ago |
i wish i had my gifs right now... |
| Zincy #1282244 2 months ago |
Maroon, this doesn't require a derail. Only two people are being aggressive. |
| majob #1282247 2 months ago |
And as for the differences in pay also consider this. Men can't have maternity leave and most women do not perform the same tasks as men do even if they're working in the same profession. |
| Zincy #1282252 2 months ago |
Yea, because they just hand out that maternity leave for nothing, its not like the female had to be pregnant and now has to take care of a child and still have a wage paying job to go back to....that would be silly. |
| Anonymous #1282257 2 months ago |
Men are physically simple creatures and are much more resilient because of it. Women are far more physically complicated and are thus more likely to have medical problems that do not apply to the male population. So should they pay the exact same amount for insurance even though there have to be entire departments devoted to women that men do not?
Note: I am not advocating, I am setting up this thought experiment. Do not insult me because I brought it, ie. don't shoot the messenger. |
| majob #1282269 2 months ago |
@Zincy how is it a copout if you're unsure who the father even is since the mother fucked 10 different men during conception? It's easy to share blame when there's no doubt but when you have even a slight chance that someone else is responsible, that shit doesn't fly.
Did you know nearly 40% of children born to married couples now aren't even fathered by the husband? And the mothers tell the doctors not to inform the man that the child might not even be his? Yeah fuck the bullshit, a woman who fucks around is a slut, she doesn't like being called that? Tough, stop spreading your legs to every retard you meet |
| Zincy #1282273 2 months ago |
2257, a compelling argument. Much better thought out then majobs....
While your first statement is a rather simplistic view of gender disparities...you're fundamentally correct. However, men suffer from many problems females can't, we also have a lower life expectancy and are more prone to accidental deaths. |
| Zincy #1282291 2 months ago |
Majob, I'm not saying that a female would go all willy nilly and fuck around. But to take the male out of the equation is idiotic. He could have turned her down. He choose to fuck her, men aren't these small minded tools ruled by their dicks, they can turn a female down. |
| Zincy #1282292 2 months ago |
should* not would. |
| Arne #1282308 2 months ago |
FUCK HIJABS! Everything else is good. |
| Anonymous #1282313 2 months ago |
Accidental death isn't covered by medical insurance. And living longer only strengthens the case that women should pay more since end of life medical care is expensive and women require more of it (live longer). For most male specific problems, there are female analogies. The opposite is not true.
As fun as it is to play devils advocate. |
| Zincy #1282321 2 months ago |
I'll give you parts of that 2313. But its rather moot as the insurance part is only one in a long line of disparities and is hardly the linchpin behind Prof's argument. |
| Anonymous #1282361 2 months ago |
Sorry, it was not my intention to defend ProfessorOfHoers in the least. Let me make it clear that I just found the insurance part of the discussion interesting as a discussion point and am not using it to imply anything beyond this VERY narrow part.
Given that and only that, is it right or wrong to charge women more for insurance? I'm certain that most people would have a gut reaction that women should pay just as much as men. But as an intellectual exercise, is it rational? As the devil's advocate against equal cost, I present that women require more medical intervention because of their biology (gender). Therefore it is fair that they be charged more. Let me make it doubly clear that this is not an attack on women as a whole, only a discussion of this particular issue. |
| Zincy #1282394 2 months ago |
I suppose, just from the information you have put forth, it would be at-least structurally correct to charge them more. But we would have to factor in several other reasons. The main two that come to mind are the moral correctness of doing so, and factoring in that women on average make less then men would it be right to charge them more for coverage (even an optional one). |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282402 2 months ago |
We wouldn't have to have this argument if we we had socialized medicine, which we should. |
| Anonymous #1282441 2 months ago |
But that is the discussion, what are the moral arguments for fair cost and do they override the economics of medical care? Is it enough to say that is costs more to treat women so they should pay more or are there legitimate arguments against it?
ProfessorOfHoers, I agree and have always been an advocate for single payer on an economic level. If someone who cannot pay get's sick then I will have to pay for their medical care at an elevated (emergency) level, because I pay taxes. It would be cheaper to provide everyone with medical care so that preventative (cheaper) care can be given, which I still would be paying through the government but at a lower price point. Single payer makes economic sense for all actors: government, hospitals, care givers and patients. |
| Operationgenesis #1282454 2 months ago |
At least throw her cutie mark on there, without seeing her hair there's nothing about this picture that actually makes it seem like this is a drawing of Rarity. |
| majob #1282532 2 months ago |
Economic sense for who? I'd pay more in taxes for a single payer system then what I currently pay in insurance. If someone can't cough up the dough to pay their bills, I shouldn't be the one stuck with the bill. One of the reasons why I can't stand socialists, they can't keep their hands off the money that doesn't belong to them. |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282542 2 months ago |
^Again, majob proves to be an idiot. |
| ProfessorOfHoers #1282549 2 months ago |

@Professor
You sound upset? Go back hating christians. It seems it's the only thing you are good these days. |
| Anonymous #1282568 2 months ago |
majob, if someone cannot pay their bill then it gets taken out of the medicaid budget, which you pay for with taxes. So you are already paying for that poor persons medical care. The difference with a single payer system would be that they could get minimal preventative care instead of the more expensive emergency care. You would end up paying less, not more. |
| majob #1282571 2 months ago |
Yup, I'm an idiot because I don't want to pay someone else's bill. |
| CottonTales #1282584 2 months ago |
Can't believe I missed this, stupid school |
| Anonymous #1282595 2 months ago |
majob, I think you missed the point where I explained that you are already paying their bill. |
| Zincy #1282596 2 months ago |
The current way the system is set up is almost at a one to one ratio anyway. You're paying more now then ever, the system needs reform.
If not a standardized system, how about a system that invests and grows the money thats put into it. |
| Anonymous #1282683 2 months ago |
how is this a picture of rarity |
| majob #1282697 2 months ago |
@568 You're equating an involuntary tax with another involuntary tax, you're not winning any points here. In proportion to the medicaid tax and my insurance to a UHC tax without insurance, I'm still losing more money all so some poor fuck who can't manage their shit right can get a free ride to the hospital. I don't even like medicaid, it doesn't cover shit, only covers 20% of costs and most hospitals refuse it. And wastes millions every year. Now magnify that scale and then what do you get? No thanks. |
