Pony who lives in a rural community like Ponyville.

Yet both are usually rational if hot tempered, generally friendly, and present a nice balance of traits in their respective areas of friends.

I can see it having some legitimacy.

We never see any interaction, but Scootaloo talks about several things they could try that she says Spike told her, like the Zip-lining thing.

Yeh, the AppleSpike and SweetieSpike ships are pretty much just more age-appropriate versions of SpikedJack and RariSpike.
How much you wanna bet the creators are gonna throw us a fast ball and (if they even do any shipping with the main characters, which isn't all that likely) make Sweetie or 'Bloom have a crush on Spike and make all kinds of conflict?

2 months ago		 @Vanner Yes there could be some interaction between Spike and Applebloom from the first episode since Twilight and him stayed at Sweet Apple Acres for who knows how long eating apple treats and meeting the Apple family.
