Artist’s note: I’d being lying if I said I didn’t want to do something along these lines from the start. And its not even just my weakness for lesser appreciated, more polarizing ships like this, discopie, applePie, etc. I feel the fact that this is one of the most unlikely ships (all ships are shots in the dark, but that’s neither here, nor there) really fits the Batman’s tendency to find romance/sexual tension in the most unlikely places and circumstance. That the character are such worlds apart helps, too. I have about a dozen different ways of writing this. If anyone else has any ideas, please share, and try not to take this too seriously. |

@d715: That's a given. But since this is more about the Batman mythos, I kinda see Dash to fit better with Jason Todd/Red Hood.
Imulsive, brash, not thinking before committing her actions and trying to prove herself that she's better and can do the same things as other in a more impulsive way. But that's just my silly opinion XD. |

Hey, we all have our takes on it, right? The reason I made Dash the Bat is because this is above all else, a parody. I felt the one character who's personality would be most appropriately different from the role is the hero herself. There's just more comedic potential in it given Dashes lack of discipline as opposed to the Bats', plus the more obvious the secret identity is, is the funnier IMO. That said, I feel Dash fits the role, too because she's the type who need to be the hero, and wouldn't settle for a mundane, simple life of luxury, even if she had all of the money in the world. I also think she is the one character in the mane six with the most room for character development, which makes for a good protagonist. I also have a lot of ideas regarding her interactions with Scoots/Robin, Rarity/Catmare, Applejack/the commissioner, etc. I apologize if this has turned you away from my work, as it stands, bet this is what I wanted to do. |
