Of course, were it a humanized pony anime, and not a R63 humed version of Rainbow Factory, the hero would burst through a window and make short work of InsaneDash (my money on the masked hero being Fluttershy ;) ) |

It doesn't say in the actual fanfic, but it turns out that the whole thing was a simulation run by Discord in Scootaloo's head. He applauds her for the beyond left field reply.
Then leaves her in her comatose state while her friends visit her regularly in the hospital. See? Still a shitty, depressing ending. |
