This should be a pretty open-shut case. Cteno is clearly not a pony, and simply wishing her as such does not make it that way. If you're going to take that attitude, literally any character can be posted on this site as long as people get belligerent enough about it. We need to have some kind of standards on this site, and I think that drawing the line at non-pony related art is what we need. That means no more Cteno unless she's with a pony.
Slugbox himself said that Cteno is not a pony character, or even an MLP OC. She's one of his own monster characters, and he doesn't like it when his own fans keep calling her a pony OC. I have to admit, there is some cosmic irony to it-- Slugbox used us bronies to get a following, and now his following refuses to let him distance himself or his characters from MLP (that hardly justifies his fans diluting an MLP message board with his characters, though). |
