Yeah but DmC is non-canon so there is no need for the Dante Drama. Besides that "new" Dante is just a stupid self-insert OC Mary-sue pretending to be Dante, thats the biggest reason not to buy the game. |

Self-insert? Self-insert of who exactly? And how do you even know that he's a Mary Sue? We don't even know anything about him. If I apply your logic then the original Dante is a prime example of a Mary Sue. I mean, being the son of a demon? White hair? Wielding a BFS? |

Have you seen the new footage and screens that have been coming out since last September? New Dante actually now bares more of a resemblance to his voice actor rather than the character designer. Plus we know have more an idea of his personality, and honestly he's still more or less the same wise ass he's always been. His backstory, interestingly, seems to be the same as old Dante. Demons still call him "son of Sparda" and another demon makes a reference to the fact his mother was killed by demons (no word on if he's got an evil twin though). |

Also, besides the whole Dante thing, one thing that bothers me is the sound that the angelic scythe weapon makes when it hits anything.
