FUN FACT: Rainbow Dash's mane contains every color of the rainbow. It does not, however, contain pink.
This is because the color pink does not actually exist--there is no such thing as "pink light" in the spectrum. All pink objects we see are radiating a mix of blue and red light. |

FUN FACT: Actually that's a common misconception Dash's mane only includes six colors of the rainbow, she is actually missing indigo and it skips straight to violet after blue. This is fairly common in cartoons since it's hard to distinguish between the two and they end up looking like it is all violet |

FUN FACT: Christianity thought the natural 6 colors of the rainbow were bad, because 6. So they added a "color" between blue and violet; no more six, now it's better. /imbored |

@Lunacy - Actually, the idea of 7 being a "lucky number" (and thus the number of colors in the rainbow) predates the Christian era by a millenia or two. |
