...AND now for part 20 of my Arkham series pony, the reveal of Dashy and Scoots as the dynamic duo.
There are quite a few reasons I've chosen Dash for this role, but given that this is above all else, a parody, I felt the one character who's personality would be most appropriately different from the role is the hero herself. There's just more comedic potential in it given Dashes lack of discipline as opposed to the Bats', plus the more obvious the secret identity is, is the funnier IMO. That said, I feel Dash fits the role, too because she's the type who need to be the hero, and wouldn't settle for a mundane, simple life of luxury, even if she had all of the money in the world. I also think she is the one character in the mane six with the most room for character development, which makes for a good protagonist. I also have a lot of ideas regarding her interactions with Scoots/Robin, Rarity/Catmare, Applejack/the commission, etc. Sorry if that was a little long winded. I just like to make my point when it comes to these things. I do the three remaining villains at some point, I'm just not particularly motivated to do those characters right now.
