For some reason, you are an admin. Go to Eco, he'll fix it.

If you're stuck on that page, how did you post this...?

I can. But no matter what filter settings I choose, everything on the settings page will be blanked out. I tried making a few dupe accounts and found that you can view pictures, comment, upload just fine but when you change ANYTHING in Content Preferences your account is borked and you'll be stuck with this message.

I can still upload pictures and send PMs, but I can't view pictures. Even single image links get me a Not found message.

Have you tried opening the site in a new window?

'installation successful'? Whats up with that? It almost looks like you downloaded the shimmie software to your pc. Do you know how to check and see what programs are on your pc?

PM sent last night. Though I don't know how actively he checks them.

Also I figured more people who know about the problem, the better. Found an old image from a few months ago where it sounds like they had the same problem

http://www.ponibooru.org/post/view/55121

Don't know if it was ever fixed.

I'm not too familiar with the Shimmie Trunk program, but have you tried browsing ponibooru without it running?

I have no idea what Shimmie Trunk is, so I have no idea how I would disable it. If you mean the Ponibooru Helper extension. Tried disabling that and still nothing.

Windows 7 64bit, latest Chrome.

Really? Why does Chrome look like that? Win7x64 shouldn't be like that.

There could be the issue of the server confusing you with a new one just added.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Uninstall-or-change-a-program

Follow thos instructions and see if shimmie is running/installed on your pc. If it is installed then uninstall it. You do not need to install any programs to view this site.

Aha! Well I thought the next suggestion someone would make would be "try another browser" so I logged in on IE set content filters and IT WORKED. Went back to Chrome and IT STILL WORKS. However if I try and change content settings in Chrome it's borked again and I have to go back to IE to change settings.

Aha! Again! I isolated it to an extension called Multi-search! Can't remember why I needed it, but I know I don't need it now

I'm guessing it probably messed up the cookies... *shrugs*

New user here. Was getting the same error, searched & found this image. Tried the fixes but none worked.
Was in Chrome originally, noticed problem after going to Content Preferences first thing, logged out and found this, logged back in, didn't touch Content Preferences, couldn't view any posts. Logged out, could.
Switched to Firefox, which I hadn't tried logging in with before, logged in, didn't touch Content Preferences, same error.
Switched to Internet Explorer, which up til now I'd *never* used for ponibooru at all (so no cookie to clear, I'd think), logged in, went straight to posts, same error. I literally cannot post this except as anon.

Running NoScript in Firefox and NotScript in Chrome, but nothing in IE. Vista 32-bit.

Really not making the best impression, with the site slowness, trolls, complaints about the community, and now this. Now I'm sure this will all be fixed in a day or two, not gonna rage or qq or anything, but seriously not good form.

An advice: disable NoScript for Ponibooru. There's nothing harmful or annoying, really.

I think there's something more than cookies, then. Something messed up with user preferences. Can you list all the extension you've installed on Chrome?

I can't reproduce the issue. Tried making a new account and messed with filter settings in Chrome, but didn't see any problems like the ones described.

Most recent anon: what's your username? Are you running any extensions in Chrome other than NotScript? I've done a blanket filter rectification for accounts that were filtering out everything, but because I don't know why yours is acting up I'm not 100% sure I caught you.

@019 here, the issue is now fixed. I sort of expected it would be, though not this fast, but I didn't change anything on my end so I'm guessing that filter rectification did the trick.

Running in Chrome - NotScript, DivX WebPlayer, and Ponyhoof. 413chan.net is allowed by both NotScript and by NoScript in Firefox; I've just checked and cannot replicate the error in any of the three browsers I mentioned earlier.

Thank you.
