At first I was thinking "why not just shoot them" then I realized they're not worth the ammo.
Oh god my sides, I couldn't stop laughing at the zinc trick. Now that's the level of creativity I expect when you write flufy pony stories! About the pregnant fluffies... I'm not sure if I correctly understand this "fluffsplosion", but if you simply crush the momma and the unborn foals in one stomp, they surely can't "fluffsplode" into anything? I mean, your leg (with boots) is at least the size of a fluffy, just crush them. Drowning is boring, but cruel. Especially the one fluff that foals in the water while drowning, I actually felt bad for her and the foals. Sniff. Not to mention what kind of mess their bodies cause downstream. And did you just leave the dead fluffies there, on the field?! Wasteful. Don't drown them. It's boring. And messy. But otherwise a good story. |

@466 Sure is time for responses.
Yes, Anon could have stomped them, but I envisioned a feral fluffsplosion as a defensive form of birth, throwing the foals away from the mother while the noise and fluffy shrapnel distracts predators. So then he has to chase and squish fluffy foals and the story was already running pretty damn long. I also figured that fluffy fluff must absorb a hell of a lot of water, so the drowned fluffies will sit on the bottom where they were thrown until they rot. Also, it's in the middle of nowhere. If the fluffies aren't worth the bullets to shoot them, are they worth the effort of cleaning them up? Let nature handle it. Furthermore, I think I have the fluffies being a little bigger than other authors (about sixteen inches in height at the head). So, stomping would be kind of hit and miss. Also, I wanted to drown them. |

You can easily cut the file size down by saving in JPEG... it's not like picture quality is a big deal here....
Reducing dimensions to 75% or so doesn't seem like a bad idea either.. |

@1272508
True, I'll give that a try. @Mayclore Sawwy, at least there are breaks. :P |

I'm not even sure how to adequately express my thorough disgust for this sadistic garbage. |

@Night
Instead of being a broken record, why not filter stuff out? |

This was horrific, yet at the same point, there was a reason for it to be done.
I also liked how the Human in question was at the very least affected by the Fluffy Ponies deaths. Ask a professional shooter/boundary rider how they feel about shooting animals that build up to plague proportions due to Humans abandoning them, and you'll find they either become unfeeling monsters or nearly break down and cry. |

This one is really good. Awesome job Mayclore. |

That and he gave them multiple opportunities to not steal food from people who need to feed their own children, to which the fluffy ponies didn't care. |

The deaths of the Other Fluffies was heart-breaking enough, they had been traumatized to the point of not trusting Humans to the point of trying to attack them, then brutalizied further by the horrific maiming and death of their foals to the point they refused to eat their basic stable food, Grass, and then died through one of the most horrific manners, internal injury resulting in blood build-up in the intestines and air-passages.
And then the Mares got to watch as they were one-by-one thrown into the water. They tried to save their own foals. They tried to save each other. They tried to save the orphaned foals. And some chose to go into death because they could not bear to be without their beloved children. This is a horrible, horrible story, and yet it provokes me to read it time and time again, the conflict between the man's duty to his job and the preservation of the crops that will feed his people, and the almost child-like Fluffies who have suffered endless abuse and torment and are trying to find a place for themselves in the world. |

Most intriguing concept of using zinc tablets to cause stomach ruptures.

Not worth the ammo? Hardly. 22 LR ammo can be bought in bulk for 3 cents a shell. It's quicker and more humane than beating them to death, and cheaper than zinc tablets (as well as quicker and more humane). Time is money. In the time it would take Mr. Liquidator to do this, he could have liquidated half a dozen herds with a semi-auto rifle. |
