...then again, if you know you won't look for them: the "final vore" ends with the victim banging on the walls of the stomach and the final panel shows the victim's clean bones (unless the author wants to show them ENJOYING their dissolution). Usually the victim is cute and a fan favorite (Rouge from Sonic, Princess Peach, you name it) and there wouldn't be anything stopping her from climbing back out or dealing serious damage to the freakin' vorer belly - if not for the fact that the artist prefers for them to die horribly because he finds it sexy. All in all, a freakish fetish. Of course, there are also other artists that have the victim be puked right out, but they're the definite minority. |

@Fronzel: Horses are indeed mentioned to be eaten by Griffons. That is also the reason why breeding a Hippogriff is so difficult. You need to get the male griffon to mate with the filly, but he would more likely just eat her. |

@Woobert, apparently the part of the brain that tells you that you need or desire food, is the same part that drives the desire for sex, After all eating and mating are two of the most basic, and important instincts any animal has.
In regards to people with Voraphilia, I suppose that part of the brain just gets a little... mixed up. The fetish is creepy as fuck, but if you think about it... it kinda makes sense as to why it exists. |

There's lots of theories as to why fetishes like this come to exist and all of them hold some plausibility but I prefer to go with the idea that when someone has their first sexual experience they will associate it with what they're seeing. For example: what do many people look at when they're young? Cartoons. And how many cartoons involve a character being eaten whole, being inflated, being stepped on, turning giant or becoming very fat? A lot. Basically this theory comes down to little billy having his first boner while watching a cartoon where someone gets eaten and his brain just assumes that was the reason why. |

I'm into vore, and all I can really say is that this shit is deep-rooted. I think I first noticed my own fascination in Men In Black, when K got swallowed whole by the roach alien thing. And that was before I even knew what sex WAS.
I can't really explain what I get out of it. It's definitely not a matter of wanting to be in the position of the pred or prey. For me it's just watching. I think reactions play a role. I mean, I like porn involving rape because it gets a hot and heavy reaction from the victim, and in vore it's a struggle of life and death. I dunno, maybe the sex-connection is in how the mouth is still a moist, living cavern and something is going inside it. I notice I'm not into hard vore, in which victims are chewed and gorified. Teeth tend to be a turnoff. I dunno, hard to explain, but we like what we like. Not like we decided to like it or anything. |
