I usually don't mind a lot of ships...in fact some of my guiltiest pleasures have been less utilized ships like Raridash, Applepie, etc. But shipping one's "OC" with the mane six, of all things just reeks of self insert.

So, this is pathetic, but someone like Ice Pack is liked? I don't get it. And seeing as there's no real Stallion main character, you might as well make an OC. I mean, who else are you gonna use? Big Mac? I don't think he can paint.

I will try and settle the "self insert" issue. While Kydose shares some things in common with my actual self. He has many differences as well. We are not the same being. Don't know if that helps at all?

@Psycho: EVEN if the character you are describing is paired with anyone of the mane six i would not care as long as it is JUST another character in your fic. AND the fic is good, that is it. But that might be just me, i can chug down Marysues and bad writing
