Stop Bullshitting,Reality. At Least Twilight and Him corssed words and Pinkie and Rainbow had interactins with him. Granted,it still doesn't make TwiMac,PinkieMac and RainbowMac very strong ships,but at least are not complete crack like FlutterMac. |

And don't forget CheeriMac,even though their episode ended in an ambiguous note,you can still say they are friends,which leaves a strong foundation if you want to ship them as a couple. RealityCheck just prefers the crack. |

Most of the ships have as much base as Fluttermac (no interaction between characters). So I don't see a problem with this ship.
I DO have a problem with the shippers (of any ship) who act as ***holes and ruin the fandom AND the trolls who mock them to ignite more fire. Also, FlutterDash ftw. |

See? FlutterDash,even though I'm not seeing happening outside the whole friendship thing,I accept it as a valid ship because all the interactions Fluttershy and Dash have in the show. But saying most of the ships are baseless it's generalizing. You see,I don't ship,so I'm trying to get what I can from these threads. What is reason Twilight get's shipped with Mac? I think this ship existed before season 2,but after Lesson Zero the shipping work increased.Why? because they shared a scene together.It wans't romantic,nothing of the sort,but they talked,they interacted and that gave those shippers some legal fuel to proceed with their ship. Somthing similar Happened with Rainbow Dash in that Cider episode too. And I completely agree with you with the shippers who are asshole/feel entitled/stubborn. |

^ Exactly. Fluttermac is for those shippers who like their ships to actually have something in common; some shared theme they can build on. How they first met/spoke or whatever is where imagination comes in. It's fun!
What *I* would like explained is Raridash or Rarijack. Sure, they have scenes together, but where is the common ground they can build on to form a stable relationship? |
