"Exactly today a year ago I posted my first My Little Pony fanart. Through the overwhelming response I got, I decided to draw more and became the artist I'm today. So much has changed in that short year for me. Not only has my style changed completely, but I also feel way more comfortable drawing. And I'm in general a way happier person, though that's not only because of this incredibly awesome community, but you all certainly had a big part in it.
So, as today is my "MLP fanart anniversary", I decided to redraw this piece that started it all. I tried to stay as close to the original as possible, but I just had to give Dashie AJs hat. Funnily enough, the new one was done in a way shorter time than the first one. I really improved a lot. I hope today in a year the improvement will be even more distinct. Thanks again to all of you who like my art, y'all are awesome! This fandom is great." |
