"Chaotic Good" indicates a disregard of rules for the greater good, not being clumsy.
"Lawful Evil" is abuse of legal loopholes in order to achieve underhanded goals, not overthrowing the established ruler to take their place. Ect... I think you'll get the point. This chart is crap. |

You're thinking of "Lawyer Evil".
Lawful Evil is simply Evil that recognizes (and SOMETIMES exploits) the benefits of rules and order. Sauron was Lawful Evil. |

Doesn't Celestia's quote make her Neutral Good? She's basically disregarding the letter of the rule in favor of the spirit.
That, and Fancy Pants would probably be more Lawful Good, since his awesome comes from playing the aristocracy for the right reasons. |

...Kay. SO many holes here. First off, as stated above: Chaotic Good = "Screw The Rules, I'm Doing What's Right", not "clumsy/chaotic/odd but also good".
Nightmare Moon was Neutral Evil, not Lawful Evil. In fact, there have not yet been ANY characters in canon that could properly be called "Lawful Evil". Twilight Psycho was more Chaotic Neutral than Chaotic Evil. Likewise, the Crusaders are more Chaotic Good than Chaotic Neutral. Discord was Chaotic Evil. Celestia is closer to Neutral Good than Lawful Good; she dislikes stuffy formalities/rules/stufflikethat and has deliberately shaken things up to get others to loosen up. She's almost Chaotic Good in that. Twilight Sparkle (when she's sane) would be a better fit for Lawful Good. I am, however, in agreement with Fancypants', Luna's, Big-Mac's, and Gilda's placements on the chart. |
