We'll see. Season 3 being 13 episodes makes it add up to a total of 65 episodes, standard length for a cartoon series. Due to FiM's popularity, it's not unlikely it'll be extended/renewed after that, but I'm not going to be surprised if isn't. |

Their The Year That Was pages list the total number of episodes for both Season 1 (28) and Season 2 (24), so it looks like Season 3 really is only 13 episodes after all (unless this season’s Layout & Background is being done by two different companies). |

Do I have to explain this AGAIN? Seasons work in two sets. They film 13 episodes of a show and then the next 13. This is why they report it as being 13 episodes, because that's how they work. It's going to be 26 episodes, just like Season 1 and Season 2 (though I'd argue that Season 1 had 28 and Season 2 had 24, but that gets into a whole other argument). |
