The show is kinda racist to begin with. So far it seems that only Caucasian or Asian People are Ponies. Native Americans are Buffalos and Africans are Zebras. |

^Not really.
Horses aren't native to Africa, zebras are. So what kind of people should the zebras be? African. Horses aren't native to North America, buffalo are. So they're native American. Horses ARE indigenous to Europe and Asia. Therefore, ponies are European and Asian. |

^Sorry, that was me, I got logged out.
Point is, the show's not racist. It's just drawing real world parallels. Simply acknowledging racial and cultural differences isn't racist. |

^You are aware that Horses originally evolved in America and then went extinct there? |

Actually, MLP:FIM has one of the most sensible portrayals of race I've seen in a cartoon. Different races and cultures are acknowledged, like the Unicorns, Pegasi, and Earth Ponies, each with their own history and different ways of doing stuff. Non-pony races show up when even more "foreign" cultures are needed. The different races are seen living and working together (mostly) harmoniously, but xenophobia and distrust of "folks not like us" is acknowledged as a social reality.
Racial differences are neither papered over nor played up as stereotypes in the show. It's quite refreshing, really. |

Let us not forget the treatment of dragons in this show. |
