Later the herd dies, fluffies are mostly fluff, not much meet and little nourishment in it. |

@NightJack
They had plenty of other food as well. It's a garbage dump. Looking forward to whatever direction these dump Fluffies will take. |

^ The fluff is basically hair, and hair cannot be digested, so they filled their stomachs up and can't get real food in |

A fun read, though I find it hard to believe that fluffies would go out of their way to get meat. They're herbivores, meat wouldn't sit well with them. |

As a matter of fact, it is proven that cannibalism is harmful for many organisms, including humans, monkeys and very likely equines, since meat is not in their diet.
Still, not a bad read at all. |

This will end badly ... I expect this will mean eventually the other herds will unite against the Raiders and drive them into some 'natural' hazard in the Dump. |

@Giant_Neckbeard
or that someday someone who isn't cynical like the narrator will get there to slap some sense in the raiders. And I mean literally. |

This story pleases me. It's not Fluffies eating fluffies just because. They do it for great survival. And fluffy survival stories are awesome. Looking forward to more. |

^ Except it is fluffies eating fluffies just because. They don't need meat. It's a social thing.
Fluffies killing fluffy foals for decadence. Welcome to the Fluffy Hunger Games |

Horses have been known to kill and eat small rodents as means of sustenance and sport. It may hold true for ponies as well. The cannibalism, not as much. |
