I think that the characters are all good... friends. There's enough that can be done with that. When it goes into shipping, I feel like interesting interaction is thrown out in favor of kissing and sex. |

@Cerulean Maybe it's because how the fandom sees Fluttershy in general. Cruelty is perhaps more pronounced if it's derived from something that has none - after all, it's what made New Fluttershy so vile (mostly to Rari + Pinkie) during that episode. Of course that same episode means it's also not entirely OOC as to dismiss it entirely.
