This was interesting, but I have to say that the "fluffies can't belch" part was kind of stupid. I get that without it, there would be no story, but it just struck me as absurd. |

I owned a lot of planet-themed-name hamsters at one point, Feral. They can't belch, so you can't give them soda. Not totally out of left field, but doesn't work that well with equines either. |

Well, to be honest it has been estabilished that even if they can't burp, fluffy ponies can fart. Two openings, gas either comes out of one or out of the other. No need for a third.
Of course, not sure if it'd be funnier for fluffy ponies to make tiny, cute squeaky farts ("Eeeep") or, unexpectedly, powerful rear thruster-like blasts that sound like hand-grenades mating ("KER-FLOMBA!"). Yes, I'm making fart humor. So sue me. |
