First one kind of confuses me.
Why would Twilight be the first person (or anthro... pony... thing) that Fluttershy accuses of stealing their socks? Guess it's a translation error. |

Takanuva: In the first one Fluttershy is accusing Twilight of being too stressed and doing crazy things in her sleep, not specifically stealing her socks.

In my opinion, the translation of Derpy is more close to "Lil' Silly" rather than Spacey or Oblivious.
And that sounds close to the word derp. As far as I know, Derpy's Chinese translation originated from a video website by anonymous audience. Then I adopted it as an fanon name and introduced to more fans. |
