Actually, I would keep it. One-leg-Kristi would be far more effective at stopping abusers because of her horrifying looks. Whenever an abuser kills a fluffy pony, Kristi would just hop after him, and they would get shit-scared by her. Then, you'd spread an urban legend about how One-leg-Kristy stalks and hops those who commit cruelty to fluffy ponies, and they would all stop, because the thought of being stalked by such a weirdo is too horrifying. |

A sadist with a golden heart who kills and abuses people? That's actually a serial killer. They're as blackhearted as you can get, especially the vigilantes who've deluded themselves into thinking their horrific actions are justified. In actuality, shouldn't those who abuse abusers be hunted down by law enforcement for their crimes against humanity instead of being the ones doing the hunting, since the "fluffy fictionverse," where fluffy abuse is legal, would normally still have "laws" against hurting people and regular animals? In fact, a more believable fic (one that's not full of god mode sue-ing) would have Bruno, Darla and all their associates being hunted down and executed on sight as terrorists (or rather, enemy combatatants) for their brutality against patriots trying to prevent fluffy disobedience, overpopulation and possibly revolution. You know, since the government can actually do that kind of thing now IRL. But srsly, the buck is a pacifist doing hanging around with a serial killer? Either she's not really a rational pacifist, as that would mean she'd have to off Darla to prevent her continued brutality, or she's as stupid as a fluffy pony to not realize she's ideologically opposed to the people she hangs around with. The problem with fluffy protector fics is that they fight violence with violence, just adding to the bloodshed and escalating the situation, all while oblivious to their own blatant hypocrisy. It's like how pro-lifers protect life by taking it, you know, by bombing clinics and shooting doctors (who actually do save lives). FOR FETUSE-I mean, FOR FLUFFIES, amirite? At least abusers in fics tend to be ethically consistent, relatively kind towards their fellow man and sometimes even sympathetic. |

Perhaps Kristi lost one of her legs because she wasn't radical enough in Darla's eyes, and Darla does not tolerate any kind of deviation from her vision. |

Since everyone obviously seems to be interested in her back story, here it is:
Kristi (full name Kristina Soengidóttirhansen) is Darla's Icelandic best friend since childhood. Being an animal lover at heart, is a kind and caring young lady. Yet behind her angelic personality, lies a rather crazy and controversial past as a radical PETA-level hippie and extremist. She'd pull off the most outrageous one-woman riots (no one wanted to work with her), had an high intolerance (even higher than Darla's) towards any animal cruelty, and even let loose every now and then with violent outbursts (mostly fueled by her former heavy drinking habits and low tolerance towards alcohol). But after getting smarter and more level-headed throughout the recent years, she's happily turned out to be the patient and loving person she is today. Just don't offer her any free drinks. |
