Yeah, because licking a hoof that's been trotting on the ground (and the fact that RD works up a sweat and rarely bathes more than twice a week) is good, HEALTHY decision. Especially considering that the end of a hoof has no nerves on it. So now, were just licking a big toe nail. |

@anon: I never wrote these to be wholeheartedly realistic, the first couple I did had hoof-interaction stuff like this and I tried using actual horse anatomy terms and all and it just didn't feel right. I have more fun and the reader needs to know less technical terms this way, and the marshmallowy thing is something I've always implemented into various stories because the show regularly implies they really are that soft, or nearly-so. Not just the soft part of the hoof, but the whole body.
And nothing's "wasted" here, even if you find it strange or disturbing there are a small number of us who like HOOFSIES. |

there is alot oh sensitive skin on the underside of the hoof, have any of you ever seen the underside of a hoof. The frog of a hoof can be very sensitive to horses. My mare in general was quite ticklish. It was very hard to clean her hooves. Now for the hoof wall, using pressure, poke your your thumbnails flat with another fingernails tip. Viola, pressure, it may not be as pinpoint as your skin, but you can feel though your fingernails. Have you ever seen an equine with a cracked hoof? Ther go crazy from the pain. Check equine masseuse guides. the rubbing of the frog is a procedure. |
