As much as I love this concept, I have a problem with it:
Overpopulation.
If I recall correctly, fluffies breed like rabbits due to instinct. Now, if death rates drop by 95%, there are bound to be MUCH more fluffies than anyone could ever keep. Thus, more infanticide, more abandonment and more death.
Sad, but logical.

OP here. That wont be a issue :3. The fluffies are smarter and their brains take over instinct. Plus the wild ones dont have the pill and they die all the time.

Brains take over instinct?
Sorry, but no animal does that, only humans do.
Unless you're suggesting... Fluffies... ARE... humans?

Oh and "breed like rabbits" don't think so, at most fluffies only have on litter at all, a rabbit can give birth every 30 days for 5 or 6 years at the most, so fluffies are more like cats and dogs.

I don't know how I feel about the future of Fluffies as depicted in this story.

As long as no laws get passed protecting them from abuse/murder then I'm OK.

^ I don't care what anyone says, but fluffies are animals and there are already laws against that.

@746 That's the point. Being silly. That's where the humour is.

If not animals - then what?
Humans?
In fluffyverse mlponies DO NOT exist, and fluffies are animals, just stupidier and their babby-talk is not because they are sentient, but it's their instinct too.

Fluffy ponies are fluffy ponies, of course. Little inbred abominations of science, who can be exterminated without any bad feelings.

...as opposite to the BIG abominations of science, that you let live because otherwise they rip off your face.

...that makes me wonder: would fluffies still be the subject of the fluffabuse stories if they were the size of a Clydesdale and strong enough to take out a tank with a swift buck? Something like Big MacIntosh, only with less brain and more fluff?

Dispite the laws, there are still thousands of ponies dying in horrible pain everyday.

It's like those stray dogs, there are laws, it's just that nobody cares, have mercy on those poor creatures for the pain some of they suffer daily is unbearable!

But if fluffy ponies are smart, calm, and long-lived, what's the fucking point? Might as well start writing greentext about normal ponies.
