It's not a matter of sounding classy. They way you're using it is wrong.
Nominative = who Dative/Accusative/Genitive = whom the two words are not interchangeable "Who is this person?" "To whom will you give the cake?" "This person is Bob, whom I will kill." "What if this means she's related to Octavia, who has a similar eye color?" "Whom did you kill?" "With whom did you go to the convention?" "I AM HE WHO KNOWETH GRAMMAR" |
