^This, unfortunately. Dobermans are one of the 'Guard Dogs' we no longer use at work, simply because once they get beat down hard enough, they're broken for life. We had three at work, were contracted to provide security at a concert, some speed-tripping freak starting throwing punches, screaming about cutting everyone up and when we set the dogs on him, he broke one's neck and both front legs on the others.
Dear God did we pound the shit out of him for that, but he was so out of his mind he didn't even feel a thing. That said, 'dobbies' are a beautiful dog, very loyal and very affectionate towards a caring owner. |
