Would it really be that great a travesty if here canon eye color is purple and not red? I'll just start coloring her eyes purple in my drawings if that's the way they're going with her character, and that is the extent of how much any such difference would affect me. It's not like they're going to give her zombie eyes or something.
Not everything the fans come up with is going to make it into the show, and in fact I'd say the vast majority of it won't. This is especially true of fanfiction, since the writers are contractually forbidden from reading it (although they are allowed to look at fan art). |
