Keentao is from Réunion Island, an overseas territory of France.
In this picture, the girls are talking in reunionese creole, the dialect of the place which derives from French. Here's the translation : SC: "Samosa!" SB: "Cork!" AB: "Cot!" (a local brand of lemonade) All three : "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS REUNIONESE KIDS! YAY!" The joke is that creole accent is almost unintelligible even for native French speakers, let alone for "fancy speakers" like Rarity (the second part of Twilight's line means roughly "Metropolitans like us can't understand"). |
